About
Chandra Shekhar Azad was an Indian revolutionary who reorganized the Hindustan Republican Association into the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association after the death of Ram Prasad Bismil. A mentor to Bhagat Singh, he was involved in several actions against British colonial rule and died in 1931 in Alfred Park, Allahabad.
