About
Alluri Sitarama Raju was an Indian revolutionary who led the Rampa Rebellion of 1922–1924 against British colonial rule in the Godavari region of present-day Andhra Pradesh. He organized tribal people of the Eastern Ghats to resist British forest laws and was killed in captivity by the British.
