Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh turned their daughter Dua's second birthday into a double celebration on September 8, sharing a set of black-and-white maternity photographs that offer fans a rare look into their family life as they await their second child.
The couple posted the images jointly on Instagram, with a caption noting that "Baby Dua" and their hearts were both getting bigger, and thanking fans for their good wishes.
The monochrome frames were shot as part of an official pregnancy photoshoot and doubled as a celebration of Dua turning two. In one image, Ranveer is seen gently cradling Deepika's baby bump as the couple pose forehead-to-forehead; in others, the toddler is pictured laughing and playfully hiding her face between her parents. Deepika wore a sheer lace outfit that highlighted her bump, while Dua appeared in a ruffled white top and trousers with her hair styled in ribboned pigtails, and Ranveer kept it simple in an open-collar shirt.
The post drew warm reactions from the film fraternity. Dhurandhar co-star Sara Arjun called the family "the most adorable," while another member of the film's team and director Atlee, who is working with Deepika on the upcoming Raaka, also dropped in with heart emojis.
Deepika and Ranveer, who married in 2018, welcomed Dua on September 8, 2024, and have largely kept her out of the public eye since. They announced their second pregnancy in April 2026 through a family Instagram post, and Deepika is currently in her third trimester. On the work front, she is set to appear in Siddharth Anand's King alongside Shah Rukh Khan, and in Atlee's Raaka.
