Sushma Swaraj was an Indian politician and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. She served as Minister of External Affairs of India from 2014 to 2019 and was the second woman to hold that office. Earlier she served as Chief Minister of Delhi and as a Member of Parliament, and was a noted parliamentarian.
