About
Srinivasa Ramanujan was an Indian mathematician who made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series and continued fractions, largely without formal training in pure mathematics. His collaboration with the British mathematician G. H. Hardy at the University of Cambridge brought his work to wider recognition.
