Gulzarilal Nanda was an Indian politician and economist who twice served as interim Prime Minister of India — after the deaths of Jawaharlal Nehru in 1964 and Lal Bahadur Shastri in 1966. A veteran Congress figure, he held various ministerial portfolios and was involved in the Indian labour movement.
