Chiranjeevi, born Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, is an Indian actor and former politician who works predominantly in Telugu cinema, where he is regarded as one of its biggest stars and is called 'Megastar'. He served as a Member of Parliament and Union Minister of State for Tourism, and founded the Praja Rajyam Party. He is a recipient of the Padma Bhushan.
