Amrish Puri was an Indian actor widely regarded as one of Hindi cinema's most prominent villains, with a career also spanning Indian regional cinema and international films. He was known for his commanding voice and screen presence, most famously as the antagonist Mogambo in Mr. India, and also appeared in Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
